The apartment is for 1-2 persons and is on the 1st level underneath the roof of a thatched roof house which is so typical for this area - you have separate stairways to your apartment straight from the entrance area. Through the good climate of the thatched roof the temperature in the apartment is always nice - not too warm, not too cold. Dinner table and the very well equipped kitchen area are separated by a stable look alike room divider from the sleeping area. The bathroom is equipped with a heated floor, victorian tiles and british faucets and ceramics. Hair dryer, shampoo, soap and towels are of course available. Directly in front of the apartment there is the gallery where our guests find a Schimmel piano and the library. Everybody who can play the piano is invited to play.
I open my house for guests from 12 years onwards (due to the fact that the property has zones which are dangerous for smaller children) and I am - if around - always happy to have a chat with my guests or give advice for visiting and explore the neighborhood or villages and waters around Eiderstedt. Of course I respect the privacy of my guests the same as I wish for myself. Dogs are very welcome, our happy and energetic pointer Kona is always happy about every guest dog to play with. The garden in the back is gated and I invite all guests and their dogs to use this lovely ground. But of course its your responsibility to watch him, as I do not know how deep he can dig or jump, as on the fenced sheep meadow right next to it are our shy sheep Lisa and Joe and eight ouessant sheep and our happy and free running chicken who as well produce eggs for breakfast.
The recreation rooms are the entrance hall with tile stove and the gallery with a selection of different books for reading or playing the piano on our Schimmel piano (who can play). And of course my guests may use the whole garden in all separate areas to have a picknick, meditate, or just to look onto water and fields, observe birds in trees and bushes or spot maybe deers on the opposite field.
Relax, sleep in, have time and enjoy nature.

I live on the peninsula Eiderstedt in a thatched roof house on a warft which has been for the first time mentioned in the books in 1796. Our estate is directly next to one of the most beautiful streets of Eiderstedt with roundabout 50 thatched roof houses and country houses, and as well different kind of fields and meadows with sheep, cows and horses. A wonderful place to unwind and relax from city life. In my neighborhood live lovely and very nice farmers who wave to you from their tractors when driving by - there is not hog feeding or chicken factories. Therefore no odor trouble or health risk. All neighbors deliver their milk straight to the Osthusumer creamery in Witzwort, where there is as well a nice little farm shop with regional products.
