Holiday destination
Westkapelle is located directly by the sea, surrounded by beach, dike, dunes, a small lake/creek, and a forest area south of the town.
A hiking trail is signposted around the lake, and anglers can find their favorite spot. Right at the town center, there's a small beach at the spot where the dike was breached in 1944.
To the south of the town begins the long beach that stretches all the way to Vlissingen! About 12 km of sandy beach unfold there, where you can enjoy endless walks along the shore. Even during a hefty southwest storm, this beach route is lively, and not just on the beach itself.
In various beach pavilions, you can stop for a bite to eat, with a fantastic view of the sea.
Getting there
You can arrive and depart every day. Arrival from 4:00 PM (or upon request). Departure by 10:00 AM (or upon request).
During the high season (July 6, 2019, to August 24, 2019), you can only arrive and depart on Saturdays.
