The apartment is on the top floor of an apartment building with a lift, on a quiet private street with no through traffic.
There's a comfortable seating area in the sunny living room and, of course, there's TV and internet. Recline on the chaise lounge and enjoy the wonderful view of the Jakobshorn.
After skiing we often sit on the south balcony until sunset and enjoy the view with a glass of wine. In summer we enjoy breakfast on the balcony.
The separate kitchen is fully equipped with a dishwasher, ceramic hob, oven, refrigerator with three freezer compartments, coffee machines, etc.
In front of the living room there's the dining area, with its extendable dining table.
A raclette grill, fondue pot and plenty of dishes are provided.
There are two bedrooms. One with a double bed and the other with two twin beds. There's additional sleeping in the living room.
The bathroom has two sinks and a bathtub/shower. The toilet is separate (which is very nice)
A ski room is available in the basement.
There's a parking space right in front of the door.
There's carpet in the living room and in the hallway; we also rent out to guests with dogs.
The apartment is located in Davos Dorf in the Bünda region; it's very quiet but still close to the town centre.
The Parsennbahn, which takes you to the Davos/Klosters ski area, can be reached in 10 minutes on foot.(ideally via the Parsenn car park and the underpass) With 320 kilometres of slopes, this ski area is one of the largest in Switzerland!
Lake Davos, the 75 km-long cross-country ski run or the Bünda ski lift with its ski school for kids are a few minutes away.
A supermarket (home to a bakery with delicious rolls), the train station and bus connections to all other ski areas in Davos are just five minutes away on foot from our apartment.
You can use the free bus to reach all other ski areas,
e.g. the sunny slope of 'Pischa', famous for its wonderful Tschuggen descent through the Mattjisch Tälli, the 'Jakobshorn', particularly popular with snowboarders (illuminated halfpipe), or the 'Rinerhorn', the local destination for deep snow skiers and anyone who doesn't want to queue until Christmas.
The location of the apartment is also excellent for summer holidays. It's an ideal starting point for wonderful walks, hikes and mountain tours or mountain bike tours.
The climbing park and Lake Davos (with bathing establishment) can be reached in 10 minutes on foot.
There is also an 18 hole golf course
You can easily reach Davos by car or train. About 2 hours from Zurich.
