Holiday destination
The cottage is suited in a small village mainly surrounded by fields.
The Schwalbenhof has large cottage garden with s small natural pond. We are also proud to be certified as "Swallow-friendly house" by the Found for Environmental Protection. Our swallos live in the old barn and their hilarious flight can be observed during the summer months right from the sunny terrace.

Der Schwalbenhof in Gudderitz ist so wunderschön von außen und innen, dass darin Wohnen einfach glücklich macht. Die perfekte Kulisse für ein gelungenes Familientreffen. Das alte Bauernhaus hat eine angenehm entschleunigende Ausstrahlung. Durch die architektonisch sehr gelungene Renovierung stellt sich trotz teils niedriger Decken/Türen ein Gefühl von Helligkeit und Weite ein. Gleichzeitig vermitteln Holzfußböden und Holzbalkendecken und vor allem auch die Holzfeueröfen Gemütlichkeit und Geborgenheit. Die Weitläufigkeit des Hauses und die vielen kleinen Sitzecken bieten auch eigenwilligen Individualisten genügend Rückzugsmöglichkeiten, um unterschiedlichen Interessen nachzugehen. Im großen Garten konnten wir frisches Gemüse und Kräuter ernten.

Das Haus ist offen, freundlich, chick, einladend und gemütlich. Wir waren mit drei Generationen dort und es war wirklich schön, die Zeit dort zu verbringen auch an Regentagen. Der Garten und die Schwalben, die ums Haus segelten waren schön von innen und von außen. Wer gerne und gut kocht findet alles was man braucht und das Genießen in schöner Umgebung ist dann wunderbar. Der Kachelofen im Esszimmer hat uns die nötige Wärme in der Regenwoche gegeben, die uns gut tat.
