COVID Special Regulation Should the trip be unable to commence due to travel restrictions/bans for Elba (Tuscany, Italy) set by the German or Italian government, we will refund the full travel amount at short notice - minus a handling fee of €100 - to an account specified by you. In all other cases, the following applies: The booking can be cancelled up to 120 days before the start of the holiday, and any payments made will be refunded - minus a handling fee of €100. In the event of a later cancellation, we will retain the deposit. There is no entitlement to a refund of payments already made if the holiday is terminated early.

The sea in Chiessi is crystal clear, the seabed emerald green, inviting you to swim and snorkel. There is a small pebble beach with bright granite pebbles and extensive, very comfortable bathing rocks. The beach is almost exclusively frequented by local tourists.
Holiday destination
Beautiful location: the terrace, all rooms, and even the garden overlook the sea. The house is situated on a slope, at 45 meters above sea level; high enough to have an overview; low enough to also come up the hill from the beach on foot. Peacefully located above the village, one can enjoy every time of day, but especially the summer evenings on the terrace under the pergola. Next to the entrance, an old mule track runs parallel to the sea to the neighboring village of Pomonte, which has all shopping facilities.
Getting there
The ferry port to Elba is PIOMBINO, 90 km south of Livorno. The crossing takes about 1 hour. On Elba, the largest and nearest port is that of PORTOFERRAIO. When you book, you will receive a discount code for the ferry, which will save you 20% of the fare for car + passengers round trip. Portoferraio – Chiessi is 32 km; about a 45-minute drive.

Die Lage des Hauses ist wunderschön. Es ist geschmackvoll, detailverliebt eingerichtet. Für bisherige italienische Ferienhauserfahrungen sehr sauber. Garten und Terrassenbepflanzung aber verwahrlost. Leider ist es kein Einzelhaus, sondern eine Doppelhaushälfte mit dem angebotenen Haus Granatapfel. Und dieses ist nur über die Terrasse und damit auch den Eingangsbereich der Meridiana zu erreichen. Die beiden Terrassen liegen direkt aneinander. Die Gäste teilen sich den gemauerten Grill, den Garten hinter dem Haus, die Waschküche mit Waschmaschine, etc.. Für Urlauber, die Ruhe und Privatsphäre schätzen, ist das Haus möglicherweise nicht das Richtige. Unsere Frage bezüglich der Nähe der Häuser vor Buchung wurde ausweichend beantwortet, die Kommunikation vor Ort (Hausmeister wg. kaltem Wasser) funktionierte.
