Enjoy your holiday in a typical Mediterranean island atmosphere, in a panoramic location above the original fishing village of Chiessi: the sea in front of you (reachable in 5 minutes on foot), the mountains behind you, and all around the Mediterranean maquis with the scent of rosemary and lavender. Away from mass tourism, you can enjoy "la dolce vita" while watching the sunset over the sea.
The house has a large, shaded natural stone terrace with views of the sea and Corsica. You enter the house from the terrace and find yourself directly in the living room with a sofa bed and armchairs. Slightly elevated from there is the dining area with a large dining table. Next to it is bathroom 1 with a shower. The elongated kitchenette is hidden behind the dining room. A solid stone staircase leads to the first floor. You arrive at the charming gallery with two club chairs and a desk. In a hidden corner (practically the access to the upper garden with a grape arbor) there is a folding bed and/or a crib. From the gallery, you reach the two bedrooms (2 + 2 beds) and bathroom 2 with a shower. The house is very tastefully furnished by the owners with many unusual objects. Italy sends its regards!

The sea in Chiessi is crystal clear, the seabed emerald green, inviting you to swim and snorkel. There is a small pebble beach with bright granite pebbles and extensive, very comfortable bathing rocks. The beach is almost exclusively frequented by local tourists.
Beautiful location: the terrace, all rooms, and even the garden overlook the sea. The house is situated on a slope, at 45 meters above sea level; high enough to have an overview; low enough to also come up the hill from the beach on foot.
Peacefully located above the village, one can enjoy every time of day, but especially the summer evenings on the terrace under the pergola. Next to the entrance, an old mule track runs parallel to the sea to the neighboring village of Pomonte, which has all shopping facilities.
The ferry port to Elba is PIOMBINO, 90 km south of Livorno. The crossing takes about 1 hour. On Elba, the largest and nearest port is that of PORTOFERRAIO. When you book, you will receive a discount code for the ferry, which will save you 20% of the fare for car + passengers round trip. Portoferraio – Chiessi is 32 km; about a 45-minute drive.

Should the trip be unable to commence due to travel restrictions/bans for Elba (Tuscany, Italy) set by the German or Italian government, we will refund the full travel amount at short notice - minus a handling fee of €100 - to an account specified by you.
In all other cases, the following applies: The booking can be cancelled up to 120 days before the start of the holiday, and any payments made will be refunded - minus a handling fee of €100. In the event of a later cancellation, we will retain the deposit. There is no entitlement to a refund of payments already made if the holiday is terminated early.
