Westkapelle is located directly by the sea, surrounded by beach, dyke, dunes, a small lake/creek, and a forest area to the south of the town.
A hiking trail is marked around the lake, and anglers can find their favored spot. Right in the town center, there is a small beach at the point where the dyke was breached in 1944.
To the south of the town begins the long beach that stretches all the way to Vlissingen! Approximately 12 km of sandy beach unfold there, where you can take endless walks on the beach. Even during a proper southwest storm, this beach route is lively, and not just on the beach itself.
You can enjoy a visit to various beach pavilions, offering a fantastic view of the sea.
You can arrive and depart every day. Arrival from 4:00 PM (or upon request). Departure by 10:00 AM (or upon request).
During the high season (06/27/2020 to 08/22/2020), you can only arrive and depart on Saturdays.
