The small village of Kissonerga lies 10 miles north of Paphos on the south west coast of Cyprus, surrounded by banana plantations and the delightful beaches of Coral Bay. The village itself is one of the most scenic villages in the Paphos region, with the wild Akamas Peninsula stretching out to the west. Things to do on holiday in Kissonerga, Cyprus Kissonerga, Cyprus is a delightful place to relax on holiday, soaking up the sun and the blissfully peaceful atmosphere. There are enough shops, cafes, restaurants and facilities to make your stay in a Kissonerga holiday property a luxurious one, free from the stress of everyday life. The nearby Arkamas Peninsula is a delightful place to walk too, wandering through the wild and unspoilt habitats, rich in both plant and animal life, allows you to find secluded sandy beaches and viewpoints along the west coast of Cyprus. Those looking for a little more activity on holiday in Kissonerga will be delighted with the facilities available. You can choose from a long list of water sports to try or participate in, ranging from sailing to jet skiing. Conditions for wind surfing and sailing are particularly good, and there are plenty of options for equipment hire or lessons. There is also a water park just outside Paphos which provides many hours of entertainment, especially for children. Due to the warmth and clarity of the Mediterranean surrounding Cyprus, marine life thrives, meaning that both deep sea fishing and scuba diving trips thrive too. Trips leave from Paphos marina, as well as glass bottomed boat trips for those who do not feel like getting wet! On dry land there are many options for entertainment too. There are many tennis courts on which to play, as well as a golf course, go-karting track, bowling alley and riding stables open for guided tours of the Cypriot countryside. A villa in Kissonerga is only 3km from Coral Bay and just 8km from Paphos town centre. Paphos is a very popular place to visit, due to the diverse range of attractions and activities on offer. Paphos not only boasts glorious beaches and numerous water sports facilities, but there is also a staggering number of historical sites and archaeological treasures all over the town, especially in the Kato-Paphos area. Coral Bay is considered to be one of the finest beach destinations near a holiday rental property in Kissonerga. The long, sweeping beach is covered in bronzed bodies during the summer, with refreshment stalls and water sport facilities covering the length of the beach.
Getting there
DRIVING DIRECTIONS TO BANANA SUNSET VILLA Longitude 32°23'39.98"E (34.831687) Latitude 34°49'54.34"N (32.394455) Paphos airport to 'Banana Sunset villa' Follow the signs and go to Tombs of the Kings Ave, next to Kings Ave Mall, signposted for Coral Bay / Pegeia / Tombs of the Kings. Continue all way straight passing near the Venus Hotel, St. George Hotel, Laura Hotel, Azia Hotel. After you pass Azia Hotel for approximately 1 KM, you will find the Golden Atlantica Hotel on your left and ‘Krasares Restaurant’ on your right. Just after these, you will find traffic lights. Continue straight and after passing the ‘Kastambena Supermarket” and then the ‘Paphian Sun Holiday Village’ about 300m, you will see on your left the ‘Karaolis Fish Tavern’. Take the next turning on the right (just 100m from the Karaolis Tavern’ and then the first turning on the left, just before the hill. Go straight for 100m and you will find the Banana Sunset villa on your left.

Von Herzen möchten wir uns für eine unvergesslich schöne Zeit in Eurem Haus bedanken. Die Villa und ihre Umgebung sind unvergleichlich. Die Einrichtung ist modern und der Ausblick (sunset) wirklich traumhaft. Der Pool wurde regelmäßig gereinigt und von romantischen Blütenblättern befreit. Die Familie stand für Fragen immer bereit, gab wertvolle Tipps und bot stets Hilfe an. Die Klimaanlagen waren sehr hilfreich, die Alarmanlage vermittelte Sicherheit. Alles in allem nur zu empfehlen. Ganz lieben Dank und liebe Grüße aus Deutschland

Wir hatten unvergeßliche 2 Wochen in dieser wunderschönen Villa. Es fehlte wirklich an nichts. Auch haben wir die wunderschöne Insel selbst erkundet und haben uns bischen verliebt. Vielen Dank nochmal an Michael und Familie. Wir kommen sicher nochmal wieder.
