Rügen invites you to enjoy the Baltic Sea and numerous attractions. Sailing. Fishing, golfing, cycling and the sea - Rügen is a leisure paradise - full speed ahead.
Near Mellnitz, at the Gleiwitz-Stahlbrode ferry, there are boats for hire. Not far from Haus Hannes is also Palmers Ort, a wonderful - even in high summer - relatively unspoilt beach. If you like more hustle and bustle, Binz and/or Göhren are good places to go.
Rügen has wonderful cycle paths and it is fun to discover nature and the island this way.
The golf course at Schloss Kranitz is only a few minutes' drive from Mellnitz.
A variety of leisure activities are within easy reach of Haus Hannes: Diving gondola Selin, bathing train "Rasender Roland", fun pool Selin and adventure pool Hansedom in Stralsund, climbing park Prora and Altefähr, tree top walk Prora, natural heritage centre Jasmund, oceanography museum and Ozeaneum Stralsund.
