Cancellation policy
For reservations confirmed starting from 01/12/2020, the following cancellation policy will apply:
- cancellation up to sixty (60) days before the arrival date: 100% refund of the rental price;
- cancellation from sixty (60) days before the arrival date to the arrival date: cancellation fee equal to 100% of the rental price (no refund);
- cancellation during the stay: cancellation fee equal to 100% of the rental price (no refund).
- Cancellation due to force majeure COVID-19: in case of cancellation of the reservation due to proven travel impossibility due to government regulations restricting the freedom of movement on the national or international territory imposed to deal with the COVID-19 epidemiological emergency, Anita Villas will refund the amount paid for the reservation, without prejudice to the guest's duty to notify Anita Villas starting from 7 days before arrival, and in any case within the day before the booked stay, of the cancellation of the reservation with specific indication of the reasons mentioned above.
Please note that any possible refund will be made by bank transfer in favour of the booking holder within the end of the year of the cancelled reservation. In the event that the payment of the reservation is made by credit card, in the event of a refund, an amount equal to 3% of the amount paid will be withheld for payment management costs.

Villa Sofia is located in the north-western part of Sicily, near the town of Castellamare del Golfo, which is known for its beautiful white beaches and small coves, including Cala Petrolo, Cala Campana, Cala Bianca and the beautiful, wild Cala Rossa.
A little further from Castellamare, you can find many other attractions, including the beautiful and famous Zingaro’s Nature Reserve, located in the area between Castellammare and San Vito lo Capo. This spectacular protected area consists of limestone cliffs overhanging a clear turquoise sea, small coves and white pebble beaches, ravines and caves, and a great number of dwarf palms (the symbol of the Zingaro) growing among the garrigue and the Mediterranean scrub.
However, this area does not consist only of small towns and spectacular beaches: if you want a change of atmosphere and want to enjoy for a while the bustling life of a city and to admire the spectacular historical buildings and enjoy the typical specialities, then a visit to the city of Trapani is a must. Also, if you love shopping, you will absolutely adore Via Giovanni Battista Fardella, the main shopping street of the city, with its cafés, restaurants, shoe and clothes shops.
There are many places worth visiting in this corner of Sicily, such as the medieval village of Erice, the beautiful island of Favignana one of the three islands that make up the Egadi archipelago and the beautiful city of Marsala, where you can taste the famous wine that gives the city its name.
