This generous, level-access, fully renovated 2-room apartment for up to 4 people (2 adults, 2 kids) features a south-facing terrace in the middle of green surroundings with a view of the herb garden and a meadow with grazing sheep.
A cat might come and visit from time to time, so it's perhaps best if you don't have an allergy to animal hair.
The holiday apartment features a large living room with a comfortable couch, an open-plan kitchen and a cosy dining area. You can access the terrace and the garden directly from the living room.
The bathroom features a comfortable shower, WC and washbasin.
The bedroom is equipped with a wardrobe, a chest of drawers and a double bed (180x200).
The pull-out sofa in the living room also provides guests with an additional place to sleep if required.
The apartment has been renovated to a very high standard from both an ecological and a building biological point of view and was completed in July 2021. Wherever possible, the old was retained and combined with the new with a focus on quality and a lot of loving attention to detail.
You'll find all the essential equipment you need to switch off and recharge - or to enjoy working in a relaxing home office (excellent Wi-Fi/wired connection)!
You'll find a parking space for your car right in front of the house - from September 2021, it will also feature the house's own electric charging station (with solar power straight from the roof).

Our location near the mountains and the lake in Übersee – a municipality nestled in the Chiemgau, one of Bavaria's most beautiful natural regions – means there's no shortage of things to do.

Enjoy the house's idyllic yet central location - out on the wooden terrace and in the garden when it's sunny and in the cosy living space when it's raining outside!
The apartment's central location means you can reach the village centre of Übersee with its church, banks, shops and - of course - it's cosy restaurants in just a few minutes on foot.
You can cycle to the lake in 10 minutes or explore the Chiemgau region on some wonderful cycle tours. Even the mountains – the Hochgern, the Hochplatte and the Kampenwand - are just a short journey away.
There's an hourly train connection to Munich and Salzburg.
By car:
Autobahn A8 - take the Übersee am Chiemsee exit, then drive approx. 6 minutes to the holiday apartment.
By train:
Alight at Übersee Station, then walk 650 m/8 minutes to the holiday apartment. Pick-up service available by request.

Cancellation fees
up to 31 days before the start of the rental period: 30% of the contractually agreed rental price,
up to 21 days before the start of the rental period: 60% of the contractually agreed rental price
up to 14 days before the start of the rental period: 80% of the contractually agreed rental price
If in doubt, we would recommend you take out holiday cancellation insurance.
