Our location near the mountains and the lake in Übersee – a municipality nestled in the Chiemgau, one of Bavaria's most beautiful natural regions – means there's no shortage of things to do. We would be happy to help if you have any questions or special requests.
Holiday destination
Enjoy the house's idyllic yet central location - out on the wooden terrace and in the garden when it's sunny and in the cosy living space when it's raining outside! The apartment's central location means you can reach the village centre of Übersee with its church, banks, shops and - of course - it's cosy restaurants in just a few minutes on foot. You can cycle to the lake in 10 minutes or explore the Chiemgau region on some wonderful cycle tours. Even the mountains – the Hochgern, the Hochplatte and the Kampenwand - are just a short journey away. There's an hourly train connection to Munich and Salzburg.
Getting there
By car: Autobahn A8 - take the Übersee am Chiemsee exit, then drive approx. 6 minutes to the holiday apartment. By train: Alight at Übersee Station, then walk 650 m/8 minutes to the holiday apartment. Pick-up service available by request.

Eine sehr empfehlenswerte Ferienwohnung! Sehr ruhig gelegen mit einem großen Garten! Die Wohnung ist geschmackvoll und super ausgestattet! Sehr freundliche und hilfsbereite Vermieter! Die Umgebung lädt zu den verschiedensten Aktivitäten ein. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und können die Wohnung uneingeschränkt empfehlen!

Liebe Sabine, lieber Erwin, wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Dies lag auch an eurer Herzlichkeit und Hilfsbereitschaft. Wir konnten uns wunderbar austauschen. Die Wohnung ist wunderschön und der Garten traumhaft. Die Tiere waren eine Bereicherung. Es hat uns Freude bereitet Rosi und Resi zu beobachten. Der Garten ist auch ein Paradies für Vögel, Schmetterlinge & Co. Und natürlich Fritzi und Friends nicht zu vergessen. Die Gegend ist ideal zur Freizeitgestaltung. Man kann radeln und wandern. Wassersport und Kultur kommen nicht zu kurz. Mama Baumgartner gab den Tip die Fraueninsel zu besuchen. Wir waren sehr froh diese wunderbare Insel gesehen zu haben. Mit dem Zug kann man z. B. in ca. 40 Minuten Salzburg besuchen. Es war ein unvergesslicher Urlaub für uns. Gerne wieder. Ganz liebe Grüße Britta und Gerard
