Holiday destination
Shopping facilities are approx. 1.5 km away, the Baltic Sea beach Weidefeld, which is free of tourist tax, is a 10-minute drive away and a bathing spot on the Schlei is 80 m away. Slipway for water sports and a nice children's playground are also only 80 m away from the holiday home Pippa.
The picturesque harbour town of Kappeln (approx. 3 km away) enchants with maritime flair. Restaurants are lined up along Kappeln harbour, bordered by the old town. Old smokehouse, museum harbour and Angelner steam railway: tradition is held in high regard in Kappeln. Enjoy a boat trip on the Schlei.
Discover the picturesque Schlei villages (best by bike). Water sports are also very popular in the Schlei region. Visit the towns of Schleswig (with the Viking museum Haithabu), Flensburg or the seaside resort of Eckernförde. The Geltinger Bay north of Kappeln is known for its beautiful and numerous natural beaches and a large nature reserve with wild horses and numerous bird species. There is much to discover!
Getting there
By car (from the south): A7 to Rendsburg, B203 to Eckernförde, Eckernförde-Kappeln or A7, A215 to Kiel, B76 Eckernförde, Eckernförde-Kappeln.
By train: train ride to Eckernförde, Bus 3010 Kappeln/Kopperby. During the saison (until the end of October): Kappelner Dampfeisenbahn Eckernförde-Kappel (especially at the weekends).

Host informationMy name is Kerstin Lueckow. My husband and I bought recently the very cozy holiday home "Pippa" (Danish style) in Kappeln/Kopperby . We start the rental at the beginning of October 2021.

Dies ist tatsächlich nach Jahren der erste Urlaub, den wir gar nicht beenden wollten.
Das Ferienhaus ist sehr liebevoll eingerichtet, so dass man sich gleich wohl fühlt. In dem Ferienhaus gibt es ausreichend Geschirr und Kochutensilien, so dass man wirklich nichts vermisst. Das ist selten der Fall, meistens ist das Geschirr und das Besteck eher dürftig, so dass man ständig spülen muss. Durch die nah gelegene Schlei mit Badestelle muss man bei schönem Wetter auch nicht zwingend durch die Gegend fahren, aber die Strände in der Nähe sind ebenfalls traumhaft. Das Ferienhaus liegt sehr ruhig mit nur wenig Verkehr, der Kontakt mit der Vermieterin war und ist super nett. Die Umgebung ist traumhaft und bietet viele Ausflugsziele. Fazit: wir kommen wieder und haben bereichts gebucht.

Das Haus "Pippa" ist wie geschaffen für spotlich Aktive! Allem voran die Lage mit gerademal 50m Fußweg zum Wasser und einem großen Schuppen, wir hatten hier die beiden Riggs vom Windsurfen aufgebaut drin stehen, dann noch unsere 5 Fahrräder (selbst E-Bike-laden ist Dank Stromanschluss im Schuppen möglich). Die Sauna und ein Außenanschluss fürs Wasser komplettieren die Logistik für die Pflege von Mensch und Material nach dem Wassersport oder einer Radtour. Für die Transportmittel stehen zwei Stellplätze vor dem Haus zur Verfügung und die Option auch den vierbeinigen Freund der Familie mitzubringen lässt keine Wünsche offen.
Das Haus selbst ist in bestem Zustand, die Ausstattung auf durchweg gehobenem Niveau genau wie die Betreuung durch die Gastgeberin.
