Guesthouse Ensenada is located in the heart of West-Zeeuws-Vlaanderen. This region is characterised by its polder landscape, which has developed over the centuries in areas below sea-level. Many sections of sea have been enclosed by new polders, creating dozens of inlets and coves that are the jewels of Zeelandic-Flanders nature; a paradise for many rare species of birds and amphibians. Guesthouse Ensenada, Spanish for cove or inlet, is situated along one of the inlets.
