The historic mountain town of Seggiano, at the foot of the 1,738-metre high Monte Amiata, is the starting point for trips to Pienza, Montalcino, Abate Sankt Antimo, as well as to the famous hot springs, Bagno Vignoni and Bagni San Filippo. In 5 minutes by car, there is the sculpture park by Daniel Spoerri. Day trip to Marina di Alberese, with a natural beach and the finest sand, in the middle of the Parco Regionale della Maremma.

Even in hot summers, the little Vivo river carries pleasantly cool, crystal-clear water from Monte Amiata through a shady deciduous forest. By car, you can reach the small bathing area, which is ideal for children, in about 10 minutes.
Marked hiking trails through southern Tuscany and the Maremma lead directly past the house.

Via the Brenner Pass on the A22 Brenner motorway to the A1 Milan -Naples or coming from the west via Gotthard or Sankt Berndino directly onto the A1. Continue on the A1 past Bologna to the Florence Impruneta exit, from there, take the expressway to Siena to the Siena Sud exit. Take the SS2 towards Rome, past Buon Convento and San Quirico d'Orcia to Bagno Vignoni, 200m after Bagno, turn right onto the SR323, drive through Rocca d'Orcia, Poggio Rosa to Seggiano.
