Other recreational opportunities
Take a trip with the Weser ferry to Bremerhaven and visit the Klimahaus, the zoo by the sea, the submarine or the emigration center. This trip is also ideal for shopping. If you want to visit an animal and amusement park, then let's go to the Jaderpark. The Olantis adventure pool in Oldenburg or the "Maritime Mile" in Wilhelmshaven as well as the city of Bremen are also ideal for a day trip.
Holiday destination
Burhave is a part of the municipality of Butjadingen on the North Sea. In the village you will find supermarkets, bakeries, butcher’s, numerous restaurants, cafes, some small shops as well as a „Volksbank“ and „Sparkasse“. While strolling you can enjoy delicious ice cream near the "Seepark". A bakery offers fresh baked pastries. Restaurants, small shops, bicycle rental and of course doctors as well as a pharmacy complete the offer.
Getting there
Via A 27 Bremen-Bremerhaven Exit Stotel (11), continue in the direction of Dedesdorf - Wesertunnel - Kleinensiel. Then take the federal road 212 towards Nordenham and follow the signs „Nordseebäder“. Via A 29 Oldenburg- Wilhelmshaven Exit Jaderberg (10), continue towards Jaderberg-Jade. Then take the federal road 437 in the direction of Varel. After approx. 1 km in Diekmannshausen turn right in the direction of „Nordseebäder“, Tossens, Burhave
