In spring and late autumn Crete is wonderfully green, carpets of flowers cover the otherwise barren landscape. Hiking or just walking is a pleasure!
In summer, the crystal clear waters of the Lybian Sea beckon, as do the hidden swimming spots between the rocks below.
Holiday destination
Stairs lead down to the sea and small pebble beach - there you are all to yourself.
Within walking distance is a small beach and the village of Agios Pavlos with its tavernas, beach and a nice beach bar is about 2 kilometers away, the larger and livelier Agia Galini about 25.
A car is absolutely necessary and also opens up the beauties of the south coast - only a few kilometers along small roads one wonderful beach follows the next, like pearls on a string.
