The cottage is located on a large property and has a living area of 100 m², which is divided into two floors.
On the first floor there is the living and dining room with a fireplace, a fully equipped kitchen and a guest toilet. The terrace is directly connected to the living area and offers views of the tree-lined garden. The grassy area can be used for outdoor games.
Upstairs there are three bedrooms and a large bathroom with shower and bathtub. Each bedroom has a closet. Two travel cots for children can be added upon request.

The Scheid is a peninsula on the north side of the Edersee. The mountainous northern part is densely forested (nature reserve "Kahle Haardt"), but crossed by numerous hiking trails. The southern part, on the other hand, is intensively used for tourism. There are restaurants, vacation apartments, several camping sites, a bathing beach with a sunbathing lawn and playground as well as a marked dog beach, several Nordic walking trails and boat moorings on the east and west shores.
