Hof Sonnenmeer sits in a peaceful location on the edge of the village of Prasdorf as you head out towards Barsbek. The Baltic Sea is roughly 4 km away; it's also 2 km to Probsteierhagen, the nearest larger settlement with good infrastructure, including local shops and restaurants.
The well-known café and restaurant named "Der Lutterbeker" is also just under 2km away. It's approx. 6 km to Laboe and 7 km to Schönberg beach.
Kiel is 15 km away, and Hamburg and Lübeck can also both be reached in about an hour.

Wir sind sehr zufrieden mit unserem Aufenthalt, alles war super. Wir fühlten uns bei den netten Vermietern sehr willkommen, das zeigte sich z. B. am üppigen Obstteller, der Blumendekoration und den reichlich vorhandenen ökologischen Produkten wie Tees , Kaffee, Tüchern, Toilettenpapier, Handseife oder auch (konventionellen) Spültabs. Der Achtsamkeit erfordernde Kalkputz sorgt in der Tat für ein angenehmes Raumklima.

Wir waren im August für knapp 2 Wochen in der sehr großzügigen Ferienwohnung im Erdgeschoss mit zwei Kleinkindern. Die Wohnung ist sehr geschmackvoll und liebevoll durchdacht eingerichtet, es ist alles da was man braucht und das Raumklima ist wirklich zum Wohlfühlen. Der großzügige Garten, den wir überall benutzen durften ist ideal für Kinder zum Austoben und für Eltern zum Erholen. Ulrike und Hans sind sehr freundliche, zuvorkommende und unkomplizierte Gastgeber. Danke, dass ihr euer Haus und Grundstück für Gäste öffnet.
Morgens ist zu empfehlen im Passader Backhaus (mit dem Rad in 15 min durchs Feld) Brötchen zu holen. Zu den Stränden (Kalifornien, Heidkate, Schönberg) sind wir jeweils in ca 15 min Autofahrten gefahren. Der Naturerlebnisraum Kinderabenteuerland in Wendtorf ist auch in der Nähe.
