Locally, there are plenty of beautiful places to explore – as well as Perranuthnoe, the other closest beaches are Prussia Cove, Praa Sands and Rinsey, all within a 10 minute drive.
St Michael's Mount, sitting proudly out in Mounts Bay is not to be missed, now looked after by National Trust.
Village of Mousehole with it's sheltered harbour, and the world famous Minack Theatre, a unique open-air theatre built into the cliff edge in the early 20th Century.

Nice cottage with comfortable beds but beware if you are tall. There are a couple of low doorways and the light fitting over the table is low. My husband bumped his head on it several times. Also the details state off road parking for a small car. This is not an exaggeration. We have a Ford Puma which only just fitted on with a lot of manoeuvring otherwise a really pleasant cottage and a nice stay.
