From May to November our guests can use the two mountain railways Hörnerbahn in Bolsterland and Ofterschwang.
From the tourist offices of the 5 villages Bolsterlang, Ofterschwang, Obermaiselstein, Balderschwang and Fischen hikes, biking tours and guided tours, as tours to cheese dairy's, are organised on a daily basis and are mainly for free.
Our holiday apartment is located in a height of 900 m, in a quiet location. Hiking and bike trails as well as the cross-country ski run are starting directly at the holiday apartment. The lifts are reachable by foot. Three golfing courses are about three km away.
Preferred towns for a trip are Oberstdorf, Kleinwalsertal, Bodensee and Königsschlösser, as well as day trips to Austria and Switzerland.
Scenic attractions like Breitachklamm and Sturmanshöhle will wow real mountain climbers.
From A8 Stuttgart to A7 Würzburg, from A8 Munich or from Lindau, you drive the whole way in the direction of Kempten. If you are past Kempten you need to turn in the direction of Lindau/Oberstdorf on the highway A980.
When the motorway junction Allgäu is appearing you need to turn in the direction of Lindau/Oberstdorf. After 5 km the second exit Waltenhofen appears and you need to turn in the direction of Oberstdorf and follow the newly built B19 until Fischen (27 km).
If you are travelling by train, we will pick you up at the train station in Fischen for free.
