The holiday home is located about 500 meters away from the harbor in Oostmahorn. You can bring your own boat and rent a berth in the harbor (directly at the Lauwersmeer). In the harbor, there is also the possibility to rent a boat, a surfboard, or a bicycle. There is also a restaurant with a snack bar, laundrette, and a shop in the harbor. It's fun to take a boat trip on the Lauwersmeer, visit an island (Schiermonnikoog), or go shopping in the Frisian old town of Dokkum. There is a sailing school in Lauwersoog.
A few kilometers away is the village of Anjum with shops, restaurants, a bank, and a supermarket. Pets are allowed. The whole family can have a lot of fun in Oostmahorn.
