Within the park, you'll find a playground, petting zoo, jeu de boules court, table tennis, bike rental, and a small children's swimming pool. Directly opposite the park is an outdoor pool which you can use free of charge. Less than 500 meters away is the recreational area "de Spokedam" with a lovely sandy beach. The village of Noordwolde is 500 meters away, offering a supermarket, bakery, butcher, other shops, a bank, and restaurants. The surrounding area provides ample opportunities for hiking or cycling. There are also several interesting museums, forests, playgrounds, and an indoor swimming pool nearby. You can enjoy a delightful day trip to Giethoorn, the Frisian Eleven Cities, the National Park "De Weerribben," or the IJsselmeer coast. Pets are allowed. There are also some pet-free bungalows.
