Emden and Norddeich are the best starting points for excursions to the East Frisian Islands. Discover the atmosphere and charm of East Friesland. Experience a hike through the unique mud flats in places like the shrimp fishing town of Greetsiel.

Getting there

Directions:
It is really easy. Freeway A31 until exit 1 = Emden West.
- there are two right-turn lanes, move into the left one
- take the second street to your right in direction to Larrelt/Twixlum
- in Larrelt at the sign that is indicating the way to Twixlum turn right
- in Twixlum right after the "Larrelter Tief" turn right into the Ringgang
- House No. 43, the right half of the house, parking space at the house.

In diesemJahr waren wir nun zum 3. Mal in diesem Ferienhaus am Kanal. Es hat uns wieder sehr gut gefallen, es ist alles da was man so braucht und der Blick auf den Kanal beim Frühstück ist unbezahlbar. Ein Ort an dem man zur Ruhe kommen kann, genau dass, was man im Urlaub braucht. Wir waren nicht das letzte Mal hier.

Das Haus ist genauso ausgestattet wie beschrieben. Ich hätte es mir etwas gemütlicher gewünscht, so, wie ich es von anderen Ferienhäusern kenne.
Der Ausblick auf den Kanal von der Terrasse hat was, wobei diese etwas trostlos wirkt.
Dafür ist die Umgebung sehr schön und ideal für lange Spaziergänge mit dem Hund.
Zu empfehlen ist 'Antjes Käsehus' gleich um die Ecke, mit einem sehr schönen Garten, leckerem Käse und einem guten Wein.

Die Ferienwohnung hat unsere (2 Personen + 1 Hund) Erwartungen voll übertroffen. Tolle Wohnung, tolle Einrichtung und die Lage direkt am Kanal lädt zum "Seele baumeln" lassen ein. Die Umgebung bietet lange Wege zum spazieren gehen. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Ausflugsziele (wie z.B. Greetsiel) sind mit dem Auto schnell zu erreichen. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen ganz bestimmt wieder!
