Belvedere ONE: the name "Beautiful View" says it all! The former hotel of the same name was renovated a few years ago and divided into several apartments. The view of the Cannero castles, Rocca di Caldé, and the lake up to the Swiss Alps is nothing short of spectacular. In a sunny location, you can enjoy the beautiful landscape from both the 3½-room duplex apartment and the sunbathing areas with outdoor shower. A perfect sunset from the pool (10 m x 8 m, open weather permitting from mid-May to early October) seems almost kitschy. From the parking level, you can reach both the pool area below via about 10 steps and the house entrance and the elevator to your apartment on the 1st floor. Since the living space of about 88 m² is spread over 2 levels, there is another direct entrance in the upper area. The tastefully modern furnishings combined with the floor-to-ceiling windows in the living/dining area transform "Belvedere ONE" into a kind of high seat above the lake, from which one can never get enough of the view. A restaurant is located about 200 meters away, and shopping options are available in Luino, about 3 km away, or in Brezzo di Bedero, about 2 km away. The famous convent "La Canonica" is within walking distance, offering a variety of concerts during the summer. For hiking and cycling enthusiasts among you, there are numerous opportunities to embark on interesting and varied tours right from the house. A parking space is available within the enclosed property, and free public parking for an additional vehicle is available about 50 meters away on the opposite side of the street. Apartment layout:
The picturesque village of Brezzo di Bedero (about 1,200 inhabitants) perches on a terraced plateau above Lake Maggiore and has always attracted visitors and holiday guests from all over the world thanks to its panoramic location in the gentle hills of the eastern shore. Surrounded by the lush green of the hills and the deep blue of the lake, numerous villas and holiday homes attest to the popularity of this place. In the old village centers of the districts Brezzo and Bedero, the village has preserved the charm of the past and awaits with prettily decorated, old houses. The jewel of the small town is the Romanesque church Collegiata di San Vittore il Moro, known as "La Canonica" from the 12th century, which captivates visitors with its beautiful frescoes from the late 15th century. Every year in July and August, the church transforms into an impressive concert hall and offers classical concerts at a high level in a unique atmosphere.
A sports center, various swimming opportunities, and numerous hiking opportunities in the idyllic hinterland guarantee a wide range of leisure activities and peaceful relaxation. Only about 4 km from Brezzo di Bedero is Luino (about 15,000 inhabitants), which with its numerous shops, cafes, bars, restaurants, a sports center with 4 tennis courts, an indoor pool (25 m x 12 m), a sailing and windsurfing school, and the marina offers various suggestions for designing your stay there. However, the main town on the Lombard shore is especially famous for its large weekly market, held every Wednesday along the lakeside promenade lined with old plane trees and the romantic old town, attracting people from far and wide to the city.
