Holiday destination
Kamilari is one of the most beautiful villages of Crete and is at the foot of the Psiloriti mountains. It is only 2,5 km away from the 20 km long Como Beach.
Kamilari has about 300 inhabitants, several very good taverns, cafes and 2 small supermarkets.
People who are looking for silence, quiet rural life, but excellent local taverns with good cretan food will feel comfortable in Kamilari.
Getting there
The most comfortable method is the arrival by plane. Meanwhile, Agean Airlines also approaches Crete in the winter (stopover in Athen).
An alternative way is the arrival by ferry, which is like a swimming hotel.
The prices will be quite the same.

Heiße Sommerwochen in einer prächtigen Villa am Hang!
Höhepunkte: die Lage der Villa mit Blick auf das Meer und der Pool!
Der Service für Logistik ( Information über An- und Abfahrten,...) und für das Haus (Reinigung, Wäschewechsel,...) war hervorragend und freundlich.
Die Villa im Landhausstiel ist mit landesüblichen Möbeln ausgestattet. Durch viele Vermietungen sind im Haus und Umgebung Gebrauchspuren deutlich geworden - eine Renovierung wäre zu empfehlen.
Wir kommen gerne wieder (aber dann im Frühjahr oder Herbst).

Wir sind wieder gut aus dem Urlaub zurückgekommen. Der Aufenthalt in der Villa Phaestias hat uns gut gefallen. Vor Ort hat uns Maryanna geholfen und gute Tipps gegeben. Sie war sehr freundlich und hat uns ein schönes Abschiedsgeschenk gemacht.
