It's always worth spending your holiday on the sunny island of Usedom. It has miles of wonderful beaches with fine sand.
Usedom is known for being one of the sunniest regions of Germany and therefore promises hours of sunshine and thus a very relaxing holiday.
Thanks to a variety of architecturally attractive seaside resorts, numerous inland lakes and small, quiet villages, every holidaymaker will get their money's worth here.
There is a lot on offer for athletic holidaymakers: you can hire bicycles or boats, play mini-golf or tennis, play skittles/go bowling, go for a ride out in the neighbouring town of Trassenheide or let off some steam by kitesurfing/surfing or spending time in the climbing forest in Ückeritz.
There is a wide range of things to do even for the little ones: In addition to a dinosaur park and butterfly farm, children will always love going to the zoo. A family petting zoo is located in Wolgast on the mainland.
Pure relaxation can be found in the Bernsteintherme (Bernstein spa) in Zinnowitz - you can choose between an indoor saltwater pool, spa or a beach sauna. In the Peenemünde Museum you can immerse yourself in times gone by. Boats also regularly depart from Karlshagen harbour and invite you, for example, to take an evening cruise at sunset towards the Bay of Greifswald.
It´s only a few minutes' walk from the holiday home to the supermarket with a bakery or to the "Wiesenperle" restaurant. The centre of Karlshagen with its numerous restaurants, chemist, petrol station, souvenir shops and post office is also within easy reach.
In short: you will have everything you need here!
Getting there
The holiday home is located on the edge of the Baltic seaside resort of Karlshagen in a quiet holiday home complex right next to the forest. The shops are just 600 metres away and the beach with a promenade are just a 17-minute walk away.
Host informationWe have fulfilled a dream with our holiday home on Usedom. It was lovingly renovated and refurnished in 2021.
We both work as full-time civil engineers and enjoy spending time with our Broholmer dog Rayah on the Baltic Sea.
We hope you have a nice holiday! ⚓️
