Holiday destination
The city Sonthofen is a nice point to start trips into the mountains for skiing or hiking.
In winter you can reach the lifts of the Oberstdorfer mountains in 15 minutes. In summer a lot of lifts offer the facility to do longer or shorter hiking tours.
A few bathing lakes offer adventure water parks - in all kind of weather.
The Bodensee can be reached in ca. 1 hour. The next shopping city is Kempten - 20 minutes by car.
In a few minutes you can reach the cycling paths along the Iller from where you can do trips to the mountains or northward on the cycling paths.
A bike rental you will find locally - busses are available in a few minutes.
Getting there
Arrival via motorway A 7 (Ulm-Kempten) or A 96 (Munich-Kempten). In Waltenhofen you drive on the B 19 in direction to Oberstdorf, after 15 minutes you will see the exit "Sonthofen Süd".
From there you drive in direction to the centre "Stadtmitte" passing "Aldi" (grocery store). Take the third exit on the traffic light at the outlet store.
After ca. 80m you turn right after a huge tree into the blind alley.
The first house on the left with a double garage is your "new home".

Die Wohnung ist sehr schön. Viel besser und moderner als auf den Fotos. Perfekt ausgestattet! Nur zu empfehlen. Ganz netter Kontakt. Wir hatten eine sehr schöne Zeit! Von der Wohnung aus war alles gut zu erreichen, kaum Anfahrtswege. Wir empfehlen es sehr gern weiter!

Wir hatten eine sehr schöne und gemütliche Ferienwohnung mit allem was man benötigt. Vom Balkon oder vom Frühstückstisch hatte man einen wundervollen Blick auf die Berge. Die Wohnung war so gut gelegen, dass man alles fußläufig erreichen konnte. Die Vermieter waren super nett mit ganz vielen Tipps für die Umgebung. Unser Fazit: Wir kommen gerne wieder.
