Amazing apartment by LAGO Design enriched by unique contemporary design items, located in Palazzo Tomasi di Lampedusa, in the city centre.
The loft is located in the Palazzo Tomasi di Lampedusa, historical residence of the namesake author of “The Leopard". The apartment has been obtained by the restoration of two old warehouses with their original stone arches and has been furnished in collaboration with the famous Italian studio LAGO Design. The living room is an open space with the dining area, where contemporary elements mix in an interesting way with original decorations from the 18th century. The geometric pattern created by Air sofas and the sinuosity of Aspen di Cassina sofas, Tuareg lighting by Foscarini and the two Counterbalance lamps by Luceplan, stimulate the imagination in combination with antique furniture and a long dining table. Two large French doors give access to the balcony overlooking the internal common courtyard.
The kitchen is provided with every tool needed to prepare delicious meals and comes with a dining area and sitting area, with access to the balcony.
The sleeping area, in contemporary style, consists of a room with a queen-sized bed and a sofa bed on the mezzanine floor, with a desk and private bathroom with a large shower. The second bedroom comes with another queen-sized bed and a single bed on the mezzanine floor, plus a private bathroom with shower.
Comforts such as free Wi-Fi, air conditioning and heating complete the property.
