Other recreational opportunities
In Bremerhaven, a visit to the "Klimahaus and the "Einwandererhaus" is well worth it. Oldenburg, the city on the river Hunte with its beautiful city centre, is a popular destination for a big city feeling. In May / June you can see the splendid rhododendrons bloom in Ammerland and the in southern Friesland you can visit the Hobbie-Park in Westerstede.
Holiday destination
Within a 10-minute walk you can reach the center of Dangast with its beach, supermarket and restaurants. Nearby is the old "Kurhaus", the "Kultcafe" with weekend food and drink. Here at the Sielhafen you can start trips by boat to the seal colonies, the Arngast lighthouse or Wilhelmshaven. Cross-country trails provide information about the once-lively artist life in Dangast. The Wattenmeerhaus offers a lot of information about the region as part of the world cultural heritage Lower Saxonian Wadden National Park.
Getting there
By car from North Rhine Westfalia, take the A29 to the exit Varel / Obenstrohe.
The signs to Dangast follow. Right at the entrance to the village, turn right into Oldeoogstrasse. On the left you will pass the fish shop Schrader and the Restaurant Gröningshof. Right behind it is your holiday residence, at the address Oldeoogstr. 12 g

Sehr schönes fehrienhaus, ruhige Lage, randlage aber nur 5min vom Strand entfernt tolle fahrradwege einfach zum wohlfühlen

Die Ferienwohnung ist mit allem nützlichen eingerichtet und sehr sauber. Lediglich ein Fön fehlte im Badezimmer und ein Schutzgitter an der Treppe oben (für Kleinkinder!), ansonsten war alles in einem TopZustand und wir fühlten uns rundum wohl! Der Vermietungsservice war so freundlich uns vor 15 Uhr in die Wohnung zu lassen, da wir nach 7 Stunden Autofahrt müde und zu früh dran waren. Sehr unkompliziert!!
Die Wohnung ist mit bis zu 2 Kindern durchaus zu empfehlen, das Fischrestaurant in der Straße ist sehr lecker und ebenfalls zu empfehlen. Es gibt in der Nähe 3 Fahrradverleihe, ebenfalls unkompliert und preiswert. Es war ein sehr schöner Urlaub, wir werden bestimmt nochmal wieder kommen!
