Welcome to the beautiful Baltic Sea resort of Laboe on the Kiel Fjord with endless sandy beaches and cycle paths, an interesting harbor and many lovely restaurants. The state capital of Kiel is on the doorstep. If you want something more tranquil, take the scheduled boat from Laboe harbor to the pier, right in Kiel city center, in the summer months. The wide Baltic Sea beach is perfect for swimming in summer and for long walks in winter. Laboe is on the busiest shipping route in the world - an El Dorado for "sightseers." The beaches are flat and child-friendly. In bad weather, there is an indoor seawater pool with warm water.
