On warm evenings, you can grill on the large south-west terrace. The smaller east terrace is well suited for cosy breakfasts.

In the forests, there is a well-developed network of cycle paths for extensive tours. Near the house, there is a campsite that offers mini golf, archery, and a climbing garden between the pine trees.

The city of Bordeaux is well worth a visit. It has an old town, which is a UNESCO world heritage site, and an interesting promenade on the Gironde.
The historic bathing and health resorts of Biarritz and Bayonne are also worth visiting.

“Landes” in southwest France is the right destination for people who are looking for peace, leisure, sun, wind, and – above all – the pristine sea.
On the Atlantic coast, you can walk along the beach as long as you want. The beach (wide or very wide depending on the tides and the phase of the moon) extends for almost 200 km.
In the surroundings of Mimizan/Bias, you will find lush pine forests. The forest floor radiates in yellow or purple at different times of the year.
This area features numerous worldly delights. Of course you can enjoy delicious French cuisine and the high-quality Bordeaux in white, rosé, or red. Or why not try the oysters from the Bay of Archachon?
By car, you can reach the holiday home via the E70 from Bordeaux south towards San Sebastian. The shortest distance between the motorway and the holiday home is via exit number 14 (Morcenx). Then drive about 25 km on the country road through the pine forest area to Bias.
