All leisure activities can be reached in about 20 minutes by car.
Holiday destination
Location: directly at the edge of the forest (recreation area), close to the center/lakes. Wonderful view of the Carinthian mountains. The center can be reached in about a 15-minute walk, and the Pörtschach lakeside promenade in about 20 minutes. The state capital Klagenfurt is a 10-minute drive away.
Slovenia and Italy are about 40 kilometers away; it's about two hours by car to the Mediterranean Sea.
Getting there
Take the Tauernautobahn towards Villach – Velden, then take the Pörtschach West exit. Head towards Pörtschach/Wörthersee (B83). In the town center, turn into Moosburger Strasse. After the railway crossing, turn right. Follow the road for about 500 meters (10. Oktoberstrasse). At the next intersection, keep left (continuing on 10. Oktoberstrasse) and follow the road to the motorway underpass (Fronweg). After the underpass, turn right, then take the next left. It's the last driveway.

We zijn 110% tevreden, het huisje was geweldig schoon en er was alles voor de eerste dagen in het huisje. Er was een koffiezetapparaat maar ook nog eens een espresso machine. Voor de zowel de gemalenkoffie als koffiebonen, wc papier, honing en zelfs voor een welkomstdrankje biertje had gastheer Jozef gezorgd. De ligging van het huisje is top, en je mag de hele tuin gebruiken met schommelbank, tafel en aangesloten banken , ook de zonnestoelen stonden ons ter beschikking.
Zo kan ik nog wel even doorgaan, maar Jozef is een super gastheer en het huisje is top om te verblijven. Voor deze centen zouden wij nergens anders willen zitten, dus is het voor ons een uitgemaakte zaak, wij komen volgend jaar terug.

Die Unterkunft war sehr schön, gute Spaziermöglichkeiten,mitten in der Natur.
Einziger Wehrmutstropfen war die Nähe zur Autobahn. Ein Unterstellplatz für das Auto wäre von Vorteil (Hagel). Ansonsten waren wir sehr zufrieden.
