Holiday destination
Tropical Resort - probably the quietest place in the tourist town of Santa Maria. It is located close to the centre of the 8km sandy Santa Maria beach. This beach is known for surfing. To the east, about a 25 minute walk, there is a Kite Beach, together with a wild stretch of untouched wilderness, where you can enjoy a coffee in the restaurant, kite surf, or paddle with the harmless lemon sharks if you walk a little further.

A recommended stay in Sal! The apartment is located inside the recently-built Tropical Resort apartment complex, across the street from the Oasis Belorizonte hotel. The main Santa Maria beach is just 5 minutes walk from the apartment, as are the nearest couple of grocery stores and cafe-pubs. With a ten/twelve-minute easy flat walk, you will have reached the famous Santa Maria pier and the pedestrian center of the town, where all the restaurants, cafes, shops, tour operators etc. are located. The apartment has two bedrooms and a living room with a fully equipped open kitchen. The rental price was fair for 1-2 persons and it's great value if it's booked for 4-6 persons. Communication and interest from the owners were excellent (before, during, and after the stay).

The apartment was clean, well equipped and welcoming. Tropical Resort is an attractive place to stay and well located. The beautiful beach is only about 300m away and it's only a short walk to shops, restaurant and the town centre. It was not my first visit to this apartment and I hope it isn't my last.
