A 1.8 km, lighted trail leads to Bernkastel and runs right along the house. From your garden, you have a view out to Landshut Palace that is lit up in the evening.
Perfect for cyclists, because the mid-Moselle cycling path runs right by the house, which will bring you to the small towns nearby and to the Eifel lake district.
There is a wine cultural centre in Bernkastel-Kues with wine house. In the over 400 year old wine cellar, you can savour over 150 Moselle wines.
Even hikers come here with us at their expense. Whether along the river or over the mountain to cut across the Moselle bend, e.g., to Traben-Trarbach - there is plenty to explore.
At bernkastel.de, hikers and cyclists can look at the loveliest routes with detailed descriptions and print them out.
Getting there
Arrival by car: from the south on the A61, please take exit Rheinböllen towards Hahn airport and follow signs to Bernkastel-Kues. From Trier or Koblenz on the A48, take exit Wittlich-Mitte (Koblenz) or Salmtal (Trier) and follow the signs to Bernkastel-Kues.

Volltreffer!!! Gemütliche Wohnung mit Garten. Alles da was man braucht um mal Pause vom Alltag zu haben. Die Wohnung ist liebevoll eingerichtet und dazu noch zweckmäßig, alles da was Mensch und Hund braucht. Ruhige Lage, direkt am Moselufer, gemütliche Terrassen ja es gibt zwei davon
Wir sind mit Hund angereist und auch er war begeistert. Ein schöner Spazierweg beginnt direkt vor der Gartentüre und führt am Moselufer entlang. Die Menschen sind hier freundlich, fast jeder Grüßt - eine sehr schöne Erfahrung in der heutigen Zeit. Allen voran unsere sehr nette, freundliche und hilfsbereite Vermieterin, Frau Witt. Egal was wir benötigten, sie war immer und zu jeder Zeit für uns da. Ein wirklich gelungener Kurzurlaub. Wir kommen wieder - schon im April. Mein Mann, Ben und ich freuen uns auf ein Wiedersehn
