Holiday destination
The old fishing village and resort of Zempin (970 inhabitants) is located at the narrowest part of Usedom. The old village center is facing with its thatched houses the backwaters. Nature is as intact here. On a fine sandy beach (with beach chair rentals) can be found on the promenade a little bath life. The tranquil village radiates serene tranquility. On the backwaters you can walk endlessly while listening paradise bird songs. In the village shops are (a supermarket, bakery, butcher), bike rental, and a few restaurants available. The bicycle network on Usedom is so well developed that you promoted in conjunction with the UBB track, the bikes on the car can largely do without.

By car you can reach the island in any case on the A20
By train you can reach Zempin to change trains in Stralsund or Züssow with the UBB train (UBB) in the center 700 meters from our house.

Sehr gut ausgestattetes reetgedecktes Ferienhaus in ruhiger Lage. Wir haben eine Woche mit unserer Flatcoated Retriever Hündin das tolle Winterwetter auf Usedom für sehr ausgiebige Spaziergänge genossen. Egal ob Achterwasser oder Ostsee, alles fußläufig zu erreichen . Falls die Wanderung am Strand dann doch einmal zu weit war, bestand die Möglichkeit mit der Bäderbahn (Benutzung ist mit der Kurkarte kostenfrei!!!) nach Zempin zurück zu fahren. Im Haus sind 3 Schlafzimmer, wir haben nur eines im EG genutzt. Eines im OG ist sehr großzügig mit Sofa und Schreibtisch ausgestattet und das andere hat noch TV. Die Badezimmer sind sehr schön und die Sauna im unteren Bad war toll. Wir hatten einmal eine Störung der Sauna, die der nette Hausmeister zeitnah beheben konnte. Das Haus ist sehr zu empfehlen.
