At a distance of about 500 meters, you can enjoy the sunset at two sandy coves or bathe at the sandy beaches of the large outer harbor. This area is also ideal for surfers, kite surfers, and catamaran sailors.
The indoor pool of the marina can be used for a fee.
In Stavoren, there is a ferry connection to Enkhuizen on the other side of the Ijsselmeer. The old town center with all shops for daily needs, restaurants, street cafes, a new supermarket, and the train station are within walking distance.
The surrounding area invites you to visit many small Frisian towns and experience a journey into the past.
There is also a new golf course nearby.
Stavoren is the starting point for wonderful cycling tours or hikes.
Friesland is a very special area of Holland. It impresses with its varied landscape, crisscrossed by canals and lakes. Come and experience it for yourself.
Getting there
Via the A3 to Arnhem, A50 towards Apeldoorn until the Hattemerbroek / Zwolle junction, country road N50 towards Kampen until the A6 motorway junction towards Lemmer, exit Lemmer N359 through Lemmer towards Balk, continue on the N359 towards Stavoren, into the center to the old harbor.

Wir ( 2 Paare) haben einen wunderschönen Urlaub verbracht.
Das Haus war gemütlich und wohnlich eingerichtet, alles vorhanden was man braucht.

Das Ferienhaus ist sehr zu empfehlen. Es war voll nach unserem Geschmack eingerichtet und durch die zwei Balkone hatte man Abends den Blick auf den Hafen und die untergehende Sonne und am Morgen konnte man herrlich auf der anderen Seite draußen frühstücken. Das Haus ist sehr gut ausgestattet mit neuwertigen Geräten. Es fehlt Nichts. Die Schlüsselübergabe durch die Verwalterin war unkompliziert und wir hatten noch das Glück unsere sehr netten Vermieter kennenzulernen. Wer das Meer liebt und sich für Wassersport und Boote interessiert, ist hier genau richtig. Für Radfahrfreunde gibt es eigentlich nichts Besseres als die Gegend um Stavoren. Wir hatten unseren Hund dabei, der den Aufenthalt genauso genossen hat wie wir. Aufgrund des tollen Angebotes haben wir für das neue Jahr bereits wieder gebucht.
