Holiday destination
Makkum is located directly at the Ijsselmeer and with its promenade, it invites you to relax. Diverse comfortable cafés invite you to linger and relax. The boutiques offer abundant shopping possibilities. Extensive water sport activities (surfing, sailing, kite-sufing with relevant training and rental opportunities) offer numerous possibilities for leisure activities.
Furthermore, bicycles, "Kettcars", pedal boats and motor boats can be hired on site.
Getting there
Arrival from Osnabrück/Bremen as well as the direction of the Ruhr area: You need to take the A31 until Meppen. Then you change to the A37. After that you take the A32 to Heerenveen. From there you take the A7 to Sneek/Amsterdam until you reach the exit Makkum. At the fourth roundabout you go to the Villapark Makkumerstrand. It takes you 2h20min from Osnabrück.

Wir waren zum ersten Mal am IJsselmeer und hatten ein Top Haus. Es war wie man es sich wünscht. Super gelegen an den Grachten. Mit Kanu, 2 Fahrräder welche zum Haus gehörten. Große Terrasse plus Garten. Zentral gelegen zum Hundpark und Sandstrand. Für die 4 Kids zwischen 9 und 14 war die Anlage optimal um sich alleine bewegen zu können.
Wir können Familie Humburg mit der Villa "Grachtenblik" sowie die Anlage nur empfehlen.
