The house is located about a 5-minute walk from the beach and right next to the nature reserves and hiking areas 'De Nederlanden' and 'De Muy'. Just 5 minutes from the center of De Koog.
Texel, the largest of the Wadden Islands, is a wonderful holiday destination for both young and old. You can enjoy the sea, beach, forest, and dunes. For nature lovers, there are numerous hiking and biking trails, and for those seeking culture, there are several museums. In short: Texel offers many possibilities for an unforgettable vacation.
Getting there
By car:
Coming from Utrecht towards Amsterdam, take the exit towards Zaanstad.
Then take the A7 towards Leeuwarden until the Den Oever exit.
From there to Den Helder, the ferry port is signposted.
On Texel:
From the ferry port, head north on Pontweg (N501). At roundabout 10, turn right and continue to follow the signs for De Waal. Just before leaving Den Burg, turn right onto Waalderstraat. At the distinctive round glass building of OmnyAcc – on your left – make a sharp left onto Abbewaal. We are right at the end, until you can't go any further, on the round square to the left of Gamma.
