Holiday destination
Kappeln (Danish: Kappel) is a very romantic small town in the district of Schleswig-Flensburg in Schleswig-Holstein. Kappeln, which is also known from the German TV series as Deekelsen, attracts guests with its lovely lanes, a beautiful panorama of the Schlei, the small fishing port and numerous offers for tourists, such as bicycle and boat rental, heritage railway and paddle steamer trips on the Schlei. The Schlei stretches for 42 km from Schleimünde at the Lotseninsel peninsula, Olpenitz in the south and Maasholm in the north, via Kappeln and Arnis up to the town of Schleswig where one finds the Möweninsel (seagull island). The Schlei separates Angeln and Schwansen and has an average width of 1.3 km and depth of 3 m. Along the Schlei, there are many natural bays. The widest part of the Schlei is between Missunde and Schleswig where there is the Große and Kleine Breite which both are suited for sailing and rowing.
Getting there
Arrival by car Via Autobahn A7 (E45) towards Hamburg, Kiel, Flensburg, take exit no. 8 (Rendsburg, Büdelsdorf) which is the first exit behind the Kiel Canal. Continue on the B203 via Eckernförde to Kappeln or until exit no. 5 (Schleswig, Schuby) and take the B201 right to Kappeln.

Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis ist nicht in Ordnung. Die Gartenauflagen haben einen unangenehmen Geruch. Nur schlechte Töpfe. Kücheenausstattung unzulänglich. Mich wundert es, dass es fast ausnahmslos gute Beurteilungen gibt. Im ausliegenden Gästebuch fehlen einige Seiten. Waren das evtl. die nicht so guten Beurteilungen?

Wunderschönes Häuschen, sehr gemütlich eingerichtet , mit Kaminofen. In dem kleinen Garten findet man zu jeder Tageszeit ein sonniges bzw. schattiges Plätzchen. IdealerAusgangspunkt fürRadtouren. Sehr gern werden wir wiederkommen.
