Holiday destination
Recreational facilities, such as the western town "Pullman City" with its program of events, the sun spa or the seaside resort on the lake with a sandy beach invite you to entertainment and relaxation. For hikers offers in the immediate and wider area an extensive network of magnificent hiking trails through the Bavarian Forest. In winter, the frozen Eginger lake is ideal for ice skating or curling. The ski lifts around the Brotjacklriegel are only 20 minutes away by car. Groomed cross-country skiing trails around Thurmannsbang are already reachable in 10 minutes by car. From Eging am See, there are public buses to Passau and Vilshofen and Schoellnach. The next main-line stations are in Passau and Plattling.
Getting there
Arriving on the A3 motorway to the motorway exit Garham / Vilshofen, then follow the signs Eging am See. By train via the stations Plattling (ICE) or Passau (ICE) or Vilshofen.

Es ist doch keine Frage, warum wir bereits zum vierten Mal das wunderbare Ferienhaus der Familie Kranert für unseren Urlaub gewählt haben. Alles ist so perfekt, wie man es sich nur wünschen kann, um sich dort so wohl, ja man kann schon sagen, ganz wie zuhause fühlen kann. Und Familie Kranert ist überaus freundlich, entgegenkommend und liebenswert. Wie schön, dass es Sie gibt! Ich habe inzwischen einige Ferienwohnungen und -häuser in ganz Deutschland gesehen. Von daher kann und muss ich sagen: Ich kann leider nicht mehr Sterne vergeben, eine perfekte 5 von 5!!! Wer dieses Domizil nicht bucht, ist selbst schuld.
