The wonderful lakes (Urbansee, Ossiachersee, Wörthersee, Maltschachersee, etc.) can be reached in a short drive and with their excellent water quality provide cooling for young and old.
The charming surroundings of Simonhöhe and St. Urbans are among the most popular family recreation and hiking areas in Central Carinthia.
Getting there
From Germany, exit A10/E55 Villach-Ossiacher See, turn left onto B94 towards Ossiacher See.
From Italy and Slovenia, take the A10/E55 Villach-Ossiacher See exit, turn right onto the B94 towards Ossiacher See.
At the roundabout take the second exit to Feldkirchen, approx. 22 km.
Pass Feldkirchen and shortly afterwards turn slightly right onto the B94 towards St.Veit.
After approx. 4.5 km turn left to St.Urban/Simonhöhe then stay on this road until you reach Simonhöhe approx. 8 km.

Frau Peron ist die unfreundlichste und aggressivste Gastgeberin, die wir je erlebt haben. Bereits bei der Buchung zeigte sich Ihr Desinteresse an ihrem Beruf daran, dass sie erst nach mehrmaligem Nachfragen unsererseits auf Fragen reagierte.
Abreisetag: Anstatt zu fragen, wie uns der Urlaub gefallen habe, wird sie laut und ungehalten, da das Frühstücksgeschirr nicht abgewaschen ist und am Boden Krümmel herumliegen. Sie schnauzte uns an, es stehe im Vertrag, dass die Wohnung besenrein zu übergeben sei. DAS STEHT JEDOCH IN KEINEM VERTRAG, denn sie uns zugeschickt hat. Darauf hingewiesen, ändert sie ihre Argumentation und meint Geschirr abwaschen und Boden fegen ist selbstverständlich. Wieso zahle ich dann 65 Euro Endreinigung und extra 30 Euro Reinigung für den Hund? Damit ich alles selber putze? Wohl nicht.
