From the apartment you can start immediately to your planned activities in the Rhön. This is followed by hiking and biking trails directly at the house.
The proximity to the health resort Poppenhausen is given. There you will find shops, an outdoor pool (with affiliated sports and tennis court) as well as at the community the tourist office. Poppenhäuser are friendly and happy to give you an information.
As starting point for day trips to Wasserkuppe (9 km), to Fulda (18 km) or to other attractions in the Rhön and surroundings Poppenhausen is ideal.
