Relax away from the urban centers and enjoy the enchanting panorama and the clear mountain air.
To reach our alpine hut, take the B106 (Mölltal-Drautal federal road). In Witschdorf (Rangersdorf locality), leave the federal road and turn right if coming from Spittal, or left if coming from Lienz. From there, a 12 km long, well-maintained, paved mountain road leads to our alpine hut. Just before the road ends at Marterle (a few hundred meters past the parking lot), a path turns off to the right, leading to our alpine hut. This last stretch is not paved, but is still easily navigable.
