the owed fee plus:
if canceled up to the 42nd calendar day (exclusive) before the arrival date: the deposit;
if canceled from the 42nd calendar day (inclusive) to the 28th calendar day (exclusive) before the arrival date: 60% of the gross rental price;
if canceled from the 28th calendar day (inclusive) up to the arrival date: 90% of the gross rental price;
if canceled on the arrival date or later: the full gross rental price;
if canceled during the stay: the full gross rental price including all surcharges.

Originally a fishing village, it has increasingly been shaped by tourism since the beginning of the last century. Egmond aan Zee has an 8-kilometer-long sandy beach, making it especially popular with families. This cozy place offers a variety of restaurants, beach pavilions, and shops that are open daily throughout the year. A well-known event is the half marathon. The lighthouse of Egmond, called Jan van Speyk, is a particularly beautiful sight. In the surrounding area, you can find the castle chapel, the ruins, and the abbey. Egmond offers numerous opportunities for walks, swimming, surfing, and sailing, ensuring that there will never be a dull moment.

A history that can be found everywhere in Egmond and gives the village its authentic character. Think of the small boats in the parking lots, the small centuries-old fishermen's houses, the former old sailors' home, the lighthouse J.C.J. Speijck, the narrow streets, the allotment gardens in the dunes, all combined with the many beautiful, smaller, and slightly larger shops in the Voorstraat. In addition, the restaurants, beach pavilions, and ice cream parlors within walking distance make Egmond a sociable, charming, and cozy village. Whether you want to eat in a small bistro, a restaurant with an Italian menu, in a beach pavilion with a fantastic view, in a cozy grand café, or a trendy restaurant: Egmond has something for every taste! Many of the Egmond shops are open seven days a week, by the way. After shopping, you can sit down on one of the sociable (heated) Egmond terraces.
Egmond is an excellent starting point for excursions in the region. From Egmond, you are quickly in the artists' village of Bergen, in Schoorl, the cheese city of Alkmaar, or in Castricum. Take a tour to these places with an (electric) bicycle: you will discover even more of the beautiful surroundings via the fantastic cycling routes. Bergen is a shady, enchanting village with chic villas, monumental buildings, remarkable galleries, exclusive shops, and interesting museums. Through the forest and dune area, you come from Bergen to Schoorl with the highest dune in the Netherlands and a real climbing dune. Educational in combination with a visit to the visitor center of the State Forestry Service. Also, at the PWN Visitor Center in Castricum, you can learn everything you need to know about the flora and fauna in and around Egmond. In a beautiful and interactive way, you can learn all about our dunes, the dune animals, the water, and much more through the sensational (nature) exhibitions, (children's) activities, playing and building huts in the forest, exploration tours, and the starting point for numerous hikes.
From Egmond, the cheese city of Alkmaar is also an excellent tip for a day trip. From April to early September, every Friday at 10 am, the cheese bell is rung on the Waagplein. It's simply fascinating to see how the cheese carriers carry their cheese on wooden barrows towards the Waaggebouw. After that, visit the surprisingly remarkable Cheese Museum, discover the wonderful shopping streets of the old town, and have an enjoyable day in historic Alkmaar.
Getting there
From Germany, take the A12 towards Arnhem, Utrecht.
At Utrecht, take the A2 towards Amsterdam.
After about 25 km, take the A9 towards Amstelveen, and then after 20 km continue on the A9 towards Alkmaar.
Then take the exit for Alkmaar/Heiloo, at the 3/4 roundabout head towards Heiloo and then Egmond. Continue following the signs for Egmond aan Zee.
Drive past the boulevard by the sea.

2. Terrasse
Die Terrasse ist nicht schön. Wir haben sie nicht genutzt. Aber das sieht man eigentlich schon auf den Bildern. Darüber kann man sich dann nicht beschweren.
3. Ausstattung TOP
Alles neuwertig. Nichts durchgesessen oder abgenutzt. Küche super ausgestattet. Schön großer Esstisch. Alles sehr geschmackvoll und sauber
Aber jetzt........ die hinteren Zimmer, das Schlafzimmer und das Kinderzimmer.... hier kann man keine Fenster öffnen. Von vorne Erdgeschoss von hinten Souterrain. Ganz merkwürdig gebaut. Es gibt nur Lüftungsschächte. Zudem steht die Waschmaschine im Kinderzimmer. Eher ein Haushaltsraum in dem ein Hochbett steht. Dadurch dass man die Fenster nicht öffnen kann und durch die Luftfeuchtigkeit der Waschmaschine kann da eigentlich niemand schlafen. Ganz ungünstig gemacht.
