Bremen: a historic Hanseatic city: The Hanseatic town by the Weser is characterized by 1200 years of tradition and cosmopolitan attitudes. Its striving for independence is the leitmotif of Bremen's history. Today, the sister towns of Bremen and Bremenhaven form the smallest of the 16 German states. Unalterable symbols of the town remain the splendid town hall in Renaissance style typical for the Weser region and the venerable figure of Roland in the historic market square (UNESCO world heritage site since 2004), the oldest neighbourhood of Schnoor-Bremen, the unusual architecture of traditional street Böttcherstraße or the cathedral. And of course, the world famous Bremen Stadtmusikanten statue from the Grimm brothers' fairytale. We recommend the many guided tours with educated guides, it is a good way to get a good impression of how it is behind the scenes (sometimes literally) of the beautiful buildings, you will find more information in the listed websites. Bremen, a town by the river: the Weser: The Weser runs at the heart of the metropolis and is what turned Bremen into a proud Hanseatic town by making it trade route. The seafarer atmosphere is still alive today and is especially attractive to tourists. The Weser promenade Schlachte invites the inhabitants of Bremen and their guests to go for a walk along the river at the heart of the city centre. It also means feasting on international gastronomy, looking at the boats, strolling along in a nutshell, unwind and enjoy. About 2000 open-air places at the heart of a maritime atmosphere attract millions of visitors to the Schlachte every year. All kinds of boats stop here: from the rustic boat restaurant 'Pfannkuchenschiff“, the three master 'Admiral Nelson“, to the Hanseatic cog, replica of the historic means of transportation from the 13th and 14th century. Right by the North Sea estuary and about 60 km away from Bremen you will find Bremerhaven. The recent large city is ideal for fantastic circuits and interesting detours.

Die Wohnung ist gut gelegen, mehrere Spielplätze und eine kleine Einkaufspassage sind in der Nähe (5-10 Minuten zu Fuß). Mit der Straßenbahn kommt man direkt in Bremens Innenstadt. Die Wohnung ist super sauber gewesen und hat eine tolle, großzügige Aufteilung; in einem Schlafzimmer ist sogar noch ein Sofa. Gut ist auch die Trennung von WC und Badezimmer, sodass es morgens nicht gleich einen Stau gibt. Passend war auch, dass die Übergabe durch einen Schlüsseltresor erfolgt ist, da wir fürchterlich im Stau standen und so fast zwei Stunden nach der verabredeten Zeit da waren. Die vorher überwiesene Kaution war innerhalb von 3 Tagen nach Ende unseres Urlaubs wieder auf dem Konto. Anders wie in anderen Ferienwohnungen wurden hier sogar Bettwäsche, Handtücher und andere Artikel gestellt! Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Womit fängt man an: die Wohnung ist sehr gut ausgestattet und sehr wohnlich eingerichtet. Die Vermietung war gut erreichbar und sehr zuvorkommend. Die Wohnung liegt sehr ruhig in einer Wohngegend, auch das Haus ist ruhig. Parkstreifen direkt vor der Haustür. Trotzdem zentrale Lage zu Bremen und "Umzu", da Busse und S-Bahn fußläufig in der Nähe sind. Ebenso eine kleine Einkaufspassage für die Nahversorgung und ein Wochenmarkt. Gerne wieder.
