Cancellation policy
The tenant has the right to withdraw from the contract before the start of the rental period. In the event of such a withdrawal, the landlord will claim a cancellation fee as follows:
Cancellation up to 4 weeks before arrival 20% of the rental price
Cancellation from 4 weeks before arrival 80% of the rental price
Cancellation up to 7 days after booking is free of charge, unless it is a short-term booking (arrival in less than 4 weeks).
Should there be a cancellation in the case of an accommodation ban or an occupancy restriction, the rental price will be reimbursed in full.

Holiday destination
You will be staying in one of the most beautiful holiday regions in the Sauerland. The small climatic health resort of Heringhausen with its impressive dam directly on the Diemelsee is still an insider tip.
As a natural holiday and leisure paradise, the natural jewel of Diemelsee offers a wide range of leisure activities.
The surrounding mountains invite you to go hiking, enjoy a leisurely bike ride or go mountain-biking at any time of the year.
In summer, the lake can be explored with electric and pedal boats, on the Diemelsee Donuts or via stand-up paddleboarding. In addition, the passenger ship St.Muffert docks at several points on the lake and offers the possibility of combining a ferry trip with hiking. The Diemelsee is also known as a fishing hotspot.
In winter, the mountains right outside the front door invite you to go tobogganing, or you can ski in the nearby strongholds of Willingen (19 km) and Winterberg (38 km).
A day trip to the Hanseatic town of Kohrbach (19 km), the baroque town of Bad Arolsen (22 km) or to Fort Fun Adventure Land (39 km) is always worthwhile.
The shore of the Diemlsee can be easily reached on foot from the holiday village. With its bathing beach, a diving bay and the varied waterfront promenade, it offers many recreational opportunities. A small adventure pool and the Visionarium are only a few metres away. Or perhaps you'd fancy a game of mini-golf? This can be played directly in the village at the Diemelsee Golf Park. Fun and enjoyment are guaranteed, in any weather!
The local cafés and restaurants are also within walking distance.
The Sauerland Card, which you will receive during your stay, allows you to travel free of charge by bus and train across the Sauerland region.
A bus stop is located directly at the holiday village. You will also get to enjoy many discounted entry prices, for example for the swimming pool or the golf park in Heringhausen, and for many leisure facilities in Willingen.
Getting there
If you wish to travel by train, there are convenient bus connections and shared taxi (AST) service from the Kohrbach, Willingen or Marsberg train stations. The Diemelsee holiday region can be reached within 15 minutes by public transport.
The nearest train stations are in Willingen (approx. 15 km) and Korbach (approx. 18 km).

Der Urlaub beginnt mit einer problemlosen Buchung, bei Fragen wurde sehr freundlich geholfen. Das Haus ist einsame Klasse. Toll eingerichtet, sehr sauber und die Ausstattung top. Beachten sollte man, dass man einige Treppenstufen zum und im Haus hat. Die Zeit dort war wunderbar erholsam. Die Hinweise (z. B. Brötchen-Lieferservice) sehr hilfreich. Und schlussendlich wurde die Kaution sehr zeitnah erstattet. Rundum empfehlenswert!

Es ist ein wirklich schönes neues Haus. Es ist eine Grundausstattung vorhanden, alles was man eigentlich so braucht und vor allem ist es sehr ruhig dort. Wir hatten eine schöne Zeit!
