Ground floor
As you enter through the main door, you find yourself in the heart of the house: the large, long living room with an open-plan kitchen and dining area on the right and a TV corner on the left. The large sliding windows provide plenty of light throughout the day and a beautiful view of the villages, the mountains on the right and the sea in the distance on the left. A guest WC is also located on this level.
1st floor
You reach the upper floor via a staircase. There are two bedrooms on this level, both connected by an outdoor balcony, which is ideal for breakfast, for example. One room is furnished with a double bed, the other with a high-quality sofa bed and a small desk for working. The two bedrooms each have their own bathroom (one with shower, one with bath) without WC. There is also a separate WC on this level.
Basement floor
If you go back through the living room, a staircase leads to a third, more spacious bedroom, which is located directly on the pool level and offers you a view of the pool. This room has a double bed, a sofa corner and an adjoining, very spacious bathroom.
There is also a laundry room on this level.
The house is air-conditioned except for the room in the basement. The pool is open and heated from mid-May to the end of September. If you are on holiday outside this period and wish to use the pool, there is a surcharge of €200 for heating. The whirlpool shown in the photos is closed by default and can be opened by special arrangement.
The house is not suitable for children under the age of 12.
Surroundings:
The charming town of Vence is situated in an imposing location high up on a cliff. It is a place with a very unique charm, which it owes not least to the many artists who have settled in the town. Architectural highlights include the medieval old town and the Rosary Chapel (Chapelle du Rosaire): This is a small chapel on the Côte d'Azur, based on plans by Henri Matisse and considered to be his masterpiece.
Garden and terrain
The house is located on the heights of Vence, about 10 minutes by car from the old town. You reach the house via a private path that leads you to the secure entrance gate. If you drive straight past the house after the gate, you will find a carport that can accommodate up to two cars. The lovingly tended garden is located to the right of the carport on the lower level. Here you will find a 4×9 metre heated pool, an outdoor shower, a summer table with chairs, sun loungers, a barbecue and parasols.

In the case of a cancellation, Coquelicot charges an allowance of up to 6 weeks before the occupancy date, which is 30% of the total rental amount and then 100% of the total rental amount. If Coquelicot succeeds in letting the object to be rented in the time initially booked by you after receipt of the cancellation notice, the expense allowance will be reduced to 50% in the latter case. These costs can be covered on request by a travel cancellation insurance.
