Holiday destination
The estate lies near Montaione, approx. 20 km northwesterly from San Gimignano. Here, in the heart of the tri-city area of Florence-Pisa-Siena you find the typical Tuscan scenery with gentle hills, cypresses, picturesque olive groves and vineyards, as far as the eye reaches. You have numerous possiblilities for excursions, for example, to San Gimignano and Volterra ( approx. 30 minutes drive) and to Florence, Pisa and Siena (approx. 60 minutes drive). The nearest urban center is Montaione (approx. 8 km). This is a picturesque Tuscan provincial town. Here you can join the life of the locals. In Montaione there is a big supermarket, several small shops for things of the everyday need, banks, chemist's shop and a lot more.
Getting there
With your confirmation you receive an exact description how to reach the estate by car. Parking bays on the area exist in sufficient number. The next airport is Pisa or Florence. On both airports there are several international rental car companies.

Ein wunderbarer Ort, an dem alles stimmt: ein altes Landgut auf einem Hügel gelegen mit 360 Grad Ausblicksmöglichkeiten und athmosphärisch schönen Ferienwohnungen. Das Inhaberpaar st freundlich und aufmerksam sowie das ganze Personal unglaublich freundlich und aufmerksam ist. Sie haben eine Köchin, die italienische Speisen so lecker kocht, dass wir auf jeden HP empfehlen. Die ganze Anlage ist wunderschön mit altem Baumbestand , Oleanderbüschen und Blumen. Der Weg zum Pool ist ist übereine lange Trppenanlage zu erreichen über eien Zypressenallee und am Pool kann man dann unter Bäumen im Schatten liegen und in die Hügel der Toskana schauen - zauberhaft!

Wir haben dieses Agriturismo kurzfristig gebucht und waren begeistert. Eine große Anlage, ganz toll gelegen mit wunderschöner Aussicht in alle Richtungen. Wohnungen/Häuser gut verteilt auf der Anlage. Viele schöne Plätze zum Verweilen und Entspannen (Terrassen, Hängematten, Bänke, ein großer Poolbereich). Gut ausgestattete, sehr saubere, gepflegte Wohnung (Apartment Magnolia) Leckeres, preiswertes Essen (wenn man möchte), freundlich und unkompliziert serviert. Überhaupt macht das Agriturismo trotz seiner Größe einen sehr familiär geführten Eindruck. Liegt etwas abgelegen und ruhig, aber trotzdem eine sehr gute Ausgangsbasis für Ausflüge in die Umgebung und zu vielen toskanischen Highlights. Aber auch bestens geeignet, um einfach dort nur zu relaxen. Wir kommen nochmal wieder, dann ein paar Tage länger!
