In our little resort you can take part in culinary and creative activities: use the well equipped kitchen, the pizza-oven, collect spices/herbs directly from our garden and we have an open atelier as well . Our special offer for time-out stays (holidays with assistance services) can be discussed personally.
Holiday destination
The apartment is located above a small piece of land where Aromatic herbs, Olives and Hazelnuts are produced (100% organic). Our two sheep Gina and Gianna make sure that the grass won't grow too much. The effect the region has on visitors is like persistently taking deep, relieving breaths. The serenity of the gentle hills dotted with small buildings, the nearby little towns Alba and Acqui Terme, the spruced up hillside villages and the vineyards in the Roero and Barolo region invite for peace as well as hiking, biking and cultural experiences.
Getting there
Directions, starting in Asti: Take the exit Asti est towards Cuneo, continue on the motorway until you reach the exit Isola d'Asti towards Santo Stefano along the Belbo Valley, Cossano Belbo, Rocchetta Belbo, approx. 15 km; in the Belbo Valley, turn left at the intersection towards Savona, after approx. 5 km you've arrived in Castino. Have a good trip!

Eine wunderschöne Wohnung, top ausgestattet und sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Von der Terrasse aus hat man einen traumhaften Blick auf die Hügel der Alta Langa. Die Besitzer Rita Maria und David sind wunderbare Gastgeber, die jederzeit mit Rat und Tat zur Seite stehen. Das gemeinsame Pizzabacken am Steinofen war ein tolles Erlebnis für uns. Unser kleiner Sohn war hingegen ganz begeistert von den Katzen und den beiden Schafen, die auf dem Grundstück ihr Zuhause haben. Es ist ein großartiger Ort um Entspannung zu finden, um Ausflüge in die umliegenden Ortschaften zu unternehmen oder um zwischen den Hügeln, Haselnussplantagen und Weinbergen entlang zu wandern und die zauberhafte Region Piemont zu genießen.

Die Ferienwohnung hat eine sehr gute Ausstattung mit tollem Panorama auf die Alta Langa Naturlandschaft. Sie ist sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Tolle Terrasse am Haus, wo sich sowohl ein entspanntes Frühstück draussen als auch abends ein leckeres Glas Wein beim Blick in den dunklen Sternenhimmel genießen läßt. Rita Maria hat uns eine tolle Degustation bei einem einheimischen Winzer incl. Weinberg-Führung mit tollen lokalen Weinen ermöglicht (was Zusatz-Kosten in Form von Weinkisten für nach den Urlaub zur Folge hatte:)) - vielen Dank nochmal dafür. Castino ist ein sehr guter Ausgangspunkt für Spaziergänge, Besichtigungen kleiner netter Orte mit ausgezeichneter piemontesischer Küche und sehr guten Weinen. Wir kommen gerne wieder.
