Holiday destination
The location of the villa is unique, right on the beach with a view of the wide sea, and left and right the kilometres of sandy beaches with an unforgettable sunset right across from our villa!
On the one hand a bit "off the beaten track", with local neighbours at the edge of an original village, yet not too far away from the famous tourist centre of Hikkaduwa, where the "pope boxes".
Getting there
By air to the airport in Colombo.
There our driver will gladly pick you up and bring you safely to the holiday home.

Wir sind zum ersten Mal auf Sri Lanka. Die Villa Kandù bietet uns den perfekten Ausgangspunkt, um die Insel kennen zu lernen: in der näheren Umgebung (Paddeln auf der Lagune entlang der Mangrovenwälder, Besuch in Galle) ; 2-3 Tagesausflüge zur Safari im Tierreservat oder zu den Teeplantagen im Hochland.
Mit Bus oder Tuk-tuk fahren wir in einer viertel Stunde ins belebte Hikkaduwa mit seinen Bade-, Surf- und Schnorchelstränden (Korallen) und den vielen Restaurants. Das beste und authentischste Essen kocht allerdings Chandra. Tipp: per Tuk-tuk 10 Minuten zum Candlelight Dinner im Mangrovia direkt am Ufer der Lagune.
Auf Terrasse und Balkon weht ein angenehmer Wind vom Meer, zur Abkühlung in den Pool: Villa Kandù ist auch eine ideale Location, um einfach nur zu entspannen. Traumhaft! Wir kommen wieder.

Gute Plannung des Hausbesitzers, super Service von den Haushältern Chandra und Upendra. Schönes sauberes Haus in einer ruhigen Lage. Shops/Apotheke sind ums Eck. Gemütliche Einrichtung aus Holz. Schlafzimmer sind mückensicher, Deckenventilator, toller Blick zum Strand. Pool und Garten sind groß und gepflegt. Haushaltsgeräte sind da, funktionierten. Bestes Curry von der Chandra und leckeres Frühstück von Upandre! Mieter Haus Yang sind sehr nett und kontaktfreudig gewesen. Gutes W-lan. Lebensfrohe Dorf und durch einen Strand Spaziergang gut zu erreichen. To Do: Räder ausleihen! Das Haus ist nach einen langen Barbesuch mit dem Rad oder Tuk Tuk gut zu finden und sicher. Lob an die Hausbesitzer! Toll wars.
